01 · GenesisIn the beginning was the myth
Between two browser tabs and some highly productive procrastination came one essential question: what if a lie detector simply declared itself one, with the confidence of a television expert?
No polygraph, no secret laboratory and no white coat. Just a mask, deliberately approximate rules and far too much seriousness in the presentation.
02 · V2.5The update that changed everything, or nearly nothing
Version 2.5 laid the foundations: dramatic gauge, ruthless verdicts, game-show sounds, local case file, badges and shareable captures. It also proved a cardboard algorithm could have excellent art direction.
- Style analysis and suspicious superlatives
- A case file stored locally
- Social proof exported as an image
- An unreasonable quantity of bad faith
03 · PhilosophyThe art of the mask
The mask does not judge people. It scores the performance: confidence, useless detail, the excuse delivered too quickly and the punctuation that turns doubt into a press conference.
We score the style, never a person’s worth.
04 · Cardboard technologyThe Quantum Guessometer™
Under the hood: PHP, local JavaScript, editorial content, weights, controlled randomness and no oracle. The engine watches absolutes, overly precise numbers, excuses, dramatic punctuation and the selected context.
The result is designed to entertain and invite another round, not establish truth.
05 · Why replayBecause a good story deserves several takes
The score shifts slightly, comments change and contexts offer new angles. Lemyto does not try to produce truth: it stages a performance. Replay is about finding the funniest line, not the most credible one.
06 · The promiseStay useless, but do it properly
The project aims for a fast, accessible, shareable interface that respects data. The humour may be absurd; code, consent and security should be far less so.
